Meet Abraham Aiyash
Abraham Aiyash is a community organizer and lawmaker with a lifelong connection to Michigan. The son of a UAW autoworker, Abe learned early on the value of dignity and the love of labor.
Rep. Aiyash served as the youngest Majority Floor Leader in state history, spearheading the passage of major clean energy and criminal justice laws.
Now, he is running for the Michigan Senate to represent Detroit and Downriver to take on unchecked corporate greed and build on the work for racial, economic, and environmental justice.
